PEWA is a group of women working across various industries who feel that there is benefit in creating a forum for female environment and sustainability professionals to get together, collaborate, share ideas and refer work. Our aim is to bring together women who work in a broad range of sectors within the environment and sustainability industry. This includes those working for private companies, government departments, not-for-profit organisations and as consultants. 

Since our inception in 2013, we have successfully established PEWA in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and we are looking to relaunch in Western Australia. Through events such as quarterly seminars, workshops, presentations from guest speakers and a range of social functions, we offer: 

• an open forum for discussion

• networking and referral opportunities

• mentoring and coaching

• professional development and educational opportunities

• the opportunity to meet and get to know other women working in our industry
