PEWA QLD Panel: Environment and Society
The Professional Environmental Women's Association (QLD) invites you to attend a panel discussion on "Environment and Society". This event will be held at QUT, Gardens Point campus (room Z1064, Level 10, Z block).
The panel discussion will commence at 6pm.

We have an exciting range of expertise on our panel so we look forward to an engaging and interactive session!

Topics for discussion will include:

Effective/Genuine Community Engagement: the importance of genuine community engagement, including First Nations engagement, and the benefits it brings.

Sustainable Development & Environment: keeping the environment at the focus of sustainability efforts and the importance of research to support benchmarking and offsets.

Endangered Species Protection: how to protect endangered species effectively at various levels (local, council, state, commonwealth) and the importance of awareness of laws and regulations.

Environmental Law - including Water Law and Water Rights
